Karen practices primarily in the areas of dispute resolution, corporate governance and risk management.  She has experience in education law, negotiation of executive compensation packages, commercial litigation, non-profit organizations and municipal code enforcement.   Prior to joining Bringewatt & Snover in 2011, Karen practiced with Alston and Bird in Atlanta and Smith Helms Mulliss & Moore L.L.P. in Charlotte, NC.

  • Assisted in the creative and orderly dissolution of several professional partnerships and limited liability corporations in order to ameliorate discord amongst parties and to avoid litigation.
  • Represented independent schools in all aspects of risk management, non-profit corporate governance and dispute resolution.
